News flash: tonight we visited the first Family a beautiful little boy called Oscar – born normally fit and healthy until sadly one day he took poorly with what was thought to be a chest infection- that was proved to be wrong it was actually septicemia Oscar deteriorated rapidly going into cardiac arrest – he was bought back by a police lady performing CPR and taken good hope hospital where again he relapsed into cardiac arrest – yet again Oscar was bought back by the amazing Nurses and doctors – sadly there was permanent damage and he now needs constant care and physiotherapy – the whole family have endured this total nightmare. Tonight Santa’s Little Helpers delivered presents for both Oscar and his family. I am So proud of Tamworth and everyone who worked to make this happen – tomorrow the mission continues with three more families and a trip to the Children’s Hospital. Xxx
